Cygnet Churchill has four wards including an emergency acute admissions service (Juniper Ward), two high dependency inpatient rehabilitation services (Maple Court and MulberryCourt) and a 4 bed step down rehabilitation service (Elm Court).The occupational therapy department at Cygnet Churchill is incredibly well resourced. In fact, the building was designed with rehabilitation in mind. The facilities include a therapy piazza with activity rooms, music room, art room, a barber shop, library,gym, internet caf, therapy kitchens, a dining room and a therapy garden.We are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Occupational Therapy Team to support recovery and rehabilitation activities in the integrated care pathway at Cygnet.The Occupational Therapy Assistant role involves planning and implementing therapeutic activities appropriate to the needs, choices and interests of individuals in our care, under the supervision and guidance of a qualified Occupational Therapist. The OccupationalTherapy Assistant will also be working with the in-house MDT which is designed to support the individual in our care throughout their journey with us.In this role you will:
