Job Description

Barchester Healthcare is one of the UK’s market leading healthcare providers being the third largest in the UK with over 250 nursing homes and hospitals across the country. With a successful new builds programme with 10 new build homes being built and openedevery year for the next three years, we are rapidly and successfully expanding.Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, and working as an integral part of the Internal Communications team, the Internal Communications Change Lead will lead the development and implementation of Barchesters internal communications associatedwith all transformation activities across various business critical projects and initiatives, alongside key business stakeholders. Liaising closely with multiple Project Managers to gain project information and develop communication and strategy plans to deliverto the wider business.Home/office/hybrid working with occasional travel in the UK as and when required.RESPONSABILITIES:

  • As part of the internal communications strategy, define a change management framework that allows us to effectively target audiences, support the adoption of new behaviours and measure progress and performance.
  • Develop creative options for change campaigns with an overall narrative and visual identity.
  • Engage, at the earliest point, with the key leads of each change workstream to understand the vision, plan, timelines, stakeholders, impact and internal comms expectations
  • Coordinate internal comms change project schedules, resources, and information to ensure that cost, timelines, quality and impact expectations are measured, impactful and successfully achieved
  • Develop key messages for change, identify target audiences and the appropriate channels to use, ensuring the messaging is in line with our values and purpose.
  • Deliver change information to stakeholders, and to support managers/ leaders in communicating this, ensuring they understand why a change is being made and how it will affect them.
  • Utilise digital platforms and tools to help drive employee engagement and support the communication strategies.
  • Support the Internal Communications Manager and team with any other internal communications activities and campaigns as required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience of developing and executing internal communications change campaigns and initiatives that support employee engagement.
  • Previous work experience as Comms Project Coordinator or similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to gain credibility and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the company.
  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to create accurate, clear, concise, and compelling messages for the relevant channel and audience.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A creative thinker.
  • Experience managing digital communication channels.
