Job Description

We are recruiting for a Welder Fabricator in the Chorley area.As a Welder Fabricator you will need to have:

  • Coded welder (ideally ENISO9606)
  • City & Guilds Fabrication and Welding Level 3 or NVQ Level 3
  • Completed Apprenticeship
  • CCNSG passport (desirable)
  • Experience of welding aluminium
  • Working knowledge and experience of quality assurance systems
  • Working experience qualifications to EN ISO 287
  • Previous experience of welding pressure vessels, pipework, heavy plate and light gauge sheet metal in a variety of materials
  • Good understanding of health and safety
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Excellent understanding of machine allowances and tolerances
  • Proficient in welding Stainless steel and carbon steels using TIG, MMA, MIG/MAG and FCAW
    • Details of the Welder Fabricator role:
  • PAYE: up to £13.90 an hour
  • Working Hours: 37 hours a week Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm an Fridays 8am to 1pm
  • Location: Chorley- easily commutable from Bolton, Blackburn and Preston
  • Duration: 3 to 6 month contract maybe longer
