Acorn is seeking a Temporary Staffing Manager on behalf of the NHS in Chorley. This is a great role for an experienced NHS professional to take on.Responsibilities: * Develop and lead implementation of the Trusts temporary staffing strategy.* Develop and lead an integrated temporary staffing function.* Operationally manage the temporary staffing function.* Streamline booking and payment processes to ensure maximum efficiency and cost reduction.* Ensure that the supply of staff from the temporary staffing bank is sufficient and able to meet the needs of services.* Advise senior managers about ways to reduce temporary staffing spend.* Manage external agency contracts associated with the supply of temporary staffing.* Provide reports to the Workforce Committee and Board of Directors on the use of temporary staffing.Requirements:* Extensive knowledge of Bankstaff.* Knowledge of NHSI agency rules.* Understanding of Procurement rules and knowledge of framework agreements.* Team Management experience.* HR Casework management experience.* Good organisational skills.* Ability to multi task.* Ability to work independently and organise own workload and co-ordinate the team.* Work to deadlines.* Knowledge of Bankstaff/Temp staffing an advantage.* Understanding of Agenda for Change rules and acute trust working practices.This is a temporary 3 month role at NHS Band 8A.
