Job Description

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator to join an established exporter of Commercial Vehicles and Capital Equipment.The main responsibility is to support the Commercial Director in managing and completing efficiently all sales administration tasks, on a part-time basis.The role is based in central Chorley town centre.Main Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not restricted to:

  • Assisting with completion of Tenders and proposals, effectively
  • Receiving and processing purchase orders.
  • Issuing sales Invoices.
  • Contacting customers by phone or email to answer queries and advise on deliveries.
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer sales order files.
  • Compiling monthly sales reports.
  • Expediting orders with subcontractors.
  • Assisting in organising shipping (Land Sea and Air)
  • Assisting with Sales campaigns.
  • Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, as required
The Experience we require from the Sales Administrator is:
  • A similar sales support or account management background
  • Experience with supporting customers with queries
  • Experience in Office365, excel, and finance systems
  • Customer-focused with a strong work ethic
Training will also be providedThe Salary: from £9k-£20k depending on hours worked and experience
