Company Details and Job Overview:Based on the outskirts of Chorley, within easy commute from the M61, my client is a financial services provider who have been operating for over a century. They are now seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their existing team.Your New Role as the Payroll Assistant:As the new Payroll Assistant, you will assist in the end-to-end payroll processing, using Sage 50 Payroll, for 6 weekly payrolls, with approximately 500600 employees, numbers vary at different times of the year due to the nature of the businesses. May alsoinclude assisting on monthly payrolls.Duties will include:- Providing daily support with payroll processing Maintaining accurate data input, hours, sickness and absence for all employees Manual statutory calculations for SSP/SMP/SPP Weekly and monthly data input Ensuring all data is kept up to date Providing daily support of running payroll and pension tasks Ensuring all deadlines are met Dealing with any payroll queries Producing payroll reports Ensuring all changes are actioned on time Processing new starters and leavers Holiday calculations Basic administrative dutiesExperience & Qualifications Required to Apply: Excellent attention to detail Knowledge of payroll processes Good communication skills Ability to work to the deadlines and manage workloadThis vacancy is being handled by Carl AngillyKenton Black Finance.Kenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a marker leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
