Job Description

Finance Analyst | £30,000 - £38,000 + Study Support | Chorley + Hybrid | Broad and varied role | High-calibre team within a PE-backed businessAxon Moore delighted to be exclusively partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed business as they look to recruit an ambitious and self-driven Part-Qualified Accountant to help support their specialist team based in Chorley. This broad and progressive opportunityis well suited to a determined individual who is able to manage and prioritise workload effectively, manipulate and extract data and progress internally within a business. Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support the execution of financial due diligence engagements
  • Creating databooks
  • Interpretation/analysis of information and report writing
  • Prepare M&A progress reports for vendors and investigate queries
  • Support the preparation of budgets for newly acquired businesses
  • Assist with preparation of the monthly board packs
  • Work closely with FP&A and Management Accounts Teams
  • Support the delivery of other ad-hoc projects as required
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • At least 2 years’ finance/accounting experience
  • Aspiring to become a chartered accountant
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and time-keeping skills
  • High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
  • Adaptable and dynamic in nature
  • Good IT and MS Excel skills
