Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a large business based in Chorley who are looking to add to their current Finance team, an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant who wants to develop their commercial reporting experience. The business is well established andhas excelled over the last few years with an extensive on-going customer base.Duties include: -

  • Manage the full expenses process across the business, including credit cards
  • Process the weekly payroll for the site for 200 employees
  • Manage the fixed asset register and associated values and depreciation
  • Assist with the month end reporting process and reconciliations
  • Monitor intercompany recharges
  • Manage the aged debt report and analysis
  • Assist with analysis around commercial data and labour variances
The successful candidate will ideally be looking to progress with the accountancy profession and perhaps be studying towards the AAT or ACCA/CIMA/ACA. You would ideally be experienced with the ledgers and nominal coding, alongside confident reporting withinExcel.We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual who is looking to join a business where they are valued and wish to progress and help assist with all elements of the reporting.
