DAYSTest Engineer sought for a Chippenham based manufacturer in the semiconductor industry offering huge development and progression. Part of a Global manufacturing brand employing over 17,000 people this role offers vast opportunities to move and grow throughthe wider brand. This role will be suited to candidates that have previous experience working as a Test Engineer within an electrical manufacturing or production background. Those that have experience or knowledge of electrical testing but are more junior are also welcomedto apply. Those that have experience within the semiconductor industry will have a considerable advantage.You will be required to support test processes and test programs for high-power semiconductor products ensuring the smooth flow of products through the area. You will also be responsible for investigating test machine process issues and help identify productyield issues with techniques such as DMAIC.The successful candidate will benefit from continued ongoing personal development and progression opportunities, as part of a global brand there will be opportunities to travel to locations across the globe on secondment as well as upward moves through thebrand if desired.The Role:*Testing of high-power semiconductor products*Ensure product flow continues*Investigating test machine issues*Identify yield issues*Support Lean manufacturing techniques The Person:*HNC or higher in engineering or equivalent technical experience*Experience in test engineering ideally in an electrical or semiconductor environment*Experience working on test equipment *Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodology will be highly advantageous *Experience with MES would be an advantage
