The ASD child has an EHCP with explicit targets and outcomes and will require a dedicated and caringindividual who will understand the precise needs of the child. The primary school are looking for an Autism Support Teaching Assistant who is engaging, empathetic and demonstrates a genuine desire to make a positive impact to children with SEN. Previous experiencewith working with children with Autism is advantageous for this Autism Support Teaching Assistant position.This is an incredible opportunity for gaining experience within the Special Needs and Mental Health sector as you will have the chance in your role as an Autism Support Teaching Assistant to observe, work-alongside and collaborate with speech and languagetherapists, educational psychologists, occupational therapists and teachers with SEN specialisms.
