Job Description

Our client is a provider of innovative medical technology bringing medicines to patients. With technology and pharmaceutical development, they are one of the few companies with the device, formulation and development capabilities to deliver a broad rangeof complex inhaled therapies.Due to growth they are looking to add a Senior Quality Officer to the team.Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System
  • Provide Quality support to project teams and business functions
  • The Senior Quality Officer will maintain the existing quality system by completing a broad range of tasks e.g. Goods in, environmental monitoring, supplier approval, audit scheduling, etc.
  • Specialise in particular areas of the QMS, including system ownership where appropriate
  • Identify and implement improvements to the QMS
  • Generate, review and maintain all relevant Quality documentation required by GMP/ISO
  • Perform review of batch manufacturing records and associated test data as part of batch
  • release
  • The Senior Quality Officer will perform internal and external audits, and act as subject matter expert for client and regulatory audits
  • Provide training on the QMS across the business, and coaching/guidance to junior members of the Quality team
  • Provide Quality support to project teams and business functions
  • Lead continuous improvement activities and internal Quality projects as required
Requirements/Skills:
  • Ideally degree or equivalent practical knowledge in a scientific discipline/company
  • Quality in a pharmaceutical/medical device environment
  • Awareness of GMP/ISO requirements
  • Product manufacturing e.g. medical devices, inhalation products etc.
  • Internal and external audits is desirable
  • Process review and testing
