Tooling Engineer (Manufacturing)ChippenhamExcellent Salary + Holidays + PensionOngoing long term contract basis, Monday to Friday daytime hoursTooling Engineer sought for a well-established, global manufacturer of specialised electromechanical and electronic equipment to the travel infrastructure industry. They offer a varied role for a candidate who has the ability to work on their own initiative.The role would be suited to experienced tooling engineers and toolmakers from manufacturing backgrounds with strong hands-on machinist experience, contributing to the design and development of tooling solutions in line with production demands. You will haverelevant engineering qualifications and any knowledge of electronic components will be advantageous although non-essential.The key function of the role will be in support of manufacturing. You will collaborate with many areas of the business, especially R&D and production to help deliver projects on time and to meet cost and quality targets. You will work on both CNC and manualmachines, specialising in creating tooling solutions to look for continuous review and improvement.
