This supports the creation of strong and vibrant communities.They make a difference to people’s lives - and this is something they want to continue doing, for more people, every day, and have ambitious plans to simplify and modernise their organisation, to become a simply brilliant landlord.About the role Our client is now recruiting a People Coordinator to support the People team offering a breadth and depth of exposure from fundamental administration and coordination duties, through to acting as a critical support network to the People team and the Business. Alongside this, the People Coordinator will also support the People Operations Manager through the collation, manipulation and interpretation of data when required.The role responsibilities include providing a responsive and customer focused People service, by ensuring timely, efficient and effective administration, including coordinating procedures and facilitating effective internal communications. You will deliver a first class People support service to managers and employees, using best practice and value adding practices.Ultimately, you will hold critical importance and act as the lynchpin for the Operations Manager and People Partners.You will cover all front-line enquiries and escalate queries when necessary to People Operations Manager and People Partners, as well as acting as the first point of contact into the People department and providing sound advice on policies and procedures to employees and managers. You will also be required to offer high levels of customer service when acting as the gateway to the People department, both internally and when possible externally.You will support our client’s People Administrator with general administrative tasks such as contract preparation, new starters, movers and leavers, pension administration, probation processes, system updates and MI as and when required.About you It is essential that you have a CIPD level 3 in Human Resources (working towards) or equivalent experience.You must have previous experience of working within a challenging multi discipline People environment and have demonstratable experience of providing initial advice and guidance to managers and/or employees on the interpretation and application of People policies and procedures.You will have the ability to work with managers and employees, providing proactive and comprehensive advice and support, whilst outlining manager’s people management responsibilities and understand the need for compliance with policies and procedures.It is essential that you can tailor communications to the varying needs of audiences and be able to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner using various communication methods e.g. written and oral.You will have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, be able to meet deadlines and commitments and have strong time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to determine an appropriate course of action in spite of changing demands.BenefitsIn support and recognition of our client’s colleagues who will help them deliver their employer strategy, our client offers a fantastic benefits package.
