The Role Due to our continued success here at Fortem, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Repairs Operations Manager to join our Stonewater branch in Chippenham.You will be accountable for driving and continuously improving service delivery, meeting or exceeding KPI targets, effective budgetary management, and implementation of best practice whilst providing excellent customer service across the function.At Fortem we care passionately about developing talent, investing support and encouraging our people to reach their career goals, and this is a great opportunity to join a highly successful business. The Project You will promote Fortem culture, values and behaviours and meet service delivery targets, including end to end management of the service, by successfully managing and motivating the team, providing clear objectives, direction and leadership, whilst maintaininga culture of open communication and team work.Being the face of repairs, you will lead on all service delivery issues that require senior management intervention or review, and be accountable for ensuring customer complaints are managed effectively and to a satisfactory conclusion. In addition, you willcontinually evaluate the overall service to ensure improvements are embedded, ensure effective cost management, and be responsible for H&S compliance of the team.Most importantly, you will be joining a values based business with a true family ethos, with our people at the heart of everything that we do. Essential And Desirable Criteria Essential: Knowledge of H&S legislation and statutory requirements including COSHH. Working Knowledge of CDM and Building Regulations Proven People Management skills Knowledge and experience in exercising financial control of significant budgets Excellent interpersonal skills Positive Proactive attitude IT Literate Driving Licence Professional approach with high standards Willingness to challenge the norm and seek improvement Motivational leaderDesirable: Understanding of Partnering and open book practices Relevant professional qualifications Exposure to financial information including P&LFortem embraces diversity in the workplace and encourages applications from all sectors of the community.
