Job Description

Finance Assistant (hybrid working) Up to £25,000 per annum (depending on experience) + excellent benefits Chippenham, Wiltshire 6 months Fixed Terms Contract Are you AAT qualified or have previous Purchase / Sales Ledger experience Would you love to work for an organisation where people are at the heart of everything they do If so, then this permanent position could be just for you!Working in partnership with this prestigious client, we are currently recruiting an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team in Chippenham. You will be delivering timely, accurate and relevant financial information for both internal and external reportingand undertake day-to-day transactions with the sales or purchase ledger cycles. The role:

  • Accurate processing of sales or purchase ledger transactions
  • Timely processing of invoices, sales invoices, credits and payments
  • Consistent storage of information
  • Provide management information to the business partners
  • Completing accurate and timely statutory returns
  • General finance administration
Person specification:
  • Previous purchase / sales ledger experience is essential
  • AAT qualification desirable
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and understand departmental priorities
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
