Asset Management Officer (GIS) Chippenham £28,198 - £31,017 per annum - depending on skillsPermanent , Full TimeOur client is now recruiting for an Asset Management Officer (GIS) on a full time permanent basis.The role will involve working closely with colleagues in the GIS Team to ensure the continuing effectiveness and development of GIS within the Group and the accuracy, integrity and robustness of property data.You will be responsible for maintaining and updating systems for the retention of information relating to individual properties and landholdings and ensure that all known information is entered onto the database and cross checking such information with otheravailable sources, including liaising with other departments and outside agencies.You will so assist the Head of Strategic Asset Management in the asset evaluation process and ensure that all information is accessible and easily usable and also use the Associations reporting system to extract data and create reports as and when requested.About youIt is essential that you are educated to a HNC or degree level or qualified by experience. A GIS Related Qualification is desirable for this position.You must have the ability to use high level database reporting tools (e.g. Business Objects, Power BI) and be able to collect, manipulate and analyse data including recognising trends and drawing conclusions.Experience of providing training and knowledge transfer to colleagues to support their learning and development is also required for this role.You will be required to have excellent administration and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise effectively and manage your own demanding workload whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality.Previous experience of Esri Products including ArcMap or ArcPro would be beneficial.BenefitsIn support and recognition of their colleagues who will help them deliver their employer strategy, they offer a fantastic benefits package.
