Job Description

Kitchen | Home | Housing | Manufacturing| Building |Construction| Property| Facilities| Helpdesk| MaintenanceReed are delighted to be working with an long established design and manufacturing company to recruit for a Property Manager on a full timebasis for their friendly officebased in East London.Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term ContactHours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pmSalary: £30-£35,000 depending on experienceOffice based but potential to work from home part of the time.Benefit: 23 days holiday per annum (plus public holidays) + company pension +Mystaffshop Discount platform + cycle to work schemeKey Responsibilities

  • Raising property recharges and service invoices
  • Allocating rent/interest/ad hoc transactions
  • Dealing with renewals and new tenancies
  • Raising payments for service charge and ground rents
  • Arranging gas checks, EICRs, Licences, EPCs and Check-in & outs
  • Registering deposits and arranging any deductions
  • Responding to tenants requirements by listening and passing on clear messages to the owners and keeping them updated
  • Booking in maintenance jobs and updating issues list
  • Dealing with all correspondence and updating all records/files
  • Logging service calls on the CRM system and updating the residents, clients and Developers regularly.
  • Keeping our customers updated regarding appointments and service visits via phone and email.
  • Creating job sheets for fitters, ordering remedials from our Factory at Grays or spare parts from the manufacturers in advance to rectify the issue.
  • Raising quotes and getting approval for damages made to appliances or furniture, creating Purchase Order number, ordering the parts/furniture required and booking in the job with the resident, updating the Developers and request an invoice from accountsand forwarding over to the developers for payment.
  • Ordering spares from suppliers for contract sites and retail customers
  • Ordering remedials from our factory for replacement items and raising collection/delivery notes
  • Applying for parking permits for retails jobsfor fitters and delivery vans (contacting local council)
Personal Specification
  • Property Services administration and accounts experience
  • Professional telephone manner, and able to communicate effectively and politely with customers, external suppliers and internal colleagues
  • IT literate, confident working with Microsoft products Outlook, Excel, word and desirable with accounts software
  • Good administration and organisational skills, and being able to prioritise their workload and meeting deadlines
  • Confident to apply their own initiative when required
  • Staying calm
  • Attention to Detail.
  • Team Player with an ability to work with other departments when required
