Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are working with a well established company based in Chesterfield who due to expansion are looking for Welder/Fabricators to join their growing team on a Temp to Perm basis. Hourly rate from £15 dependant on experience Working Monday to Friday Days only Monday - Thursday - 7am - 4pm Friday - 7am - 2pm Job Responsibilities:

  • Working from engineering drawings & specifications.
  • High level of building parts/assemblies to relate to engineering drawings.
  • MIG welding and fabrication on bespoke steel fabrications in a heavy engineering environment.
  • Using varying workshop tools, plant and machinery.
  • Welding to a high standard.
  • Measuring and marking out plate and sections for cutting, shaping and drilling.
  • Adherence to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Experience in using fabrication machinery.
  • Able to work from engineering drawings.
Experience Required:
  • Strong technical background with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • High level of experience with fabricating from engineering drawings.
  • Self motivated, reliable, and adaptable.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and possess a logical and thorough approach to all aspects of production.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
