Job Description

Role - Warehouse OperativeLocation - ChesterfieldHours - Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pmBenefits - 22 days holiday + statutory days, pension scheme, lunch provided on a daily basis, company events, annual medical, fantastic training and learning and development opportunities, free parkingThis is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join an established, fast-growing company who are quickly becoming one of the major players in their industry.This is a great time to join this team focussed, supportive organisation where you will have opportunities for additional training, obtaining further certifications and qualifications and career progression and development!The ideal candidate will have Warehouse experience within a Manufacturing environment, have a FLT Licence and be computer literate with experience using Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.Duties will include:

  • Receiving goods in, booking in on the system
  • Unloading and unpacking and first inspection of goods
  • Packing and dispatch of goods
  • Picking of stock and kitting for manufacture
  • Supporting the engineering team with light assembly duties
  • Cycle counting
  • Stock management
  • Operating FLT (Bendi/Telehandler)
  • Waste management
  • Promote safe working practices
