Job Description

Software Sales Specialist - SaaS - Hybrid - £38,000 - £40,000 + commission Robert Half is pleased to have been engaged on a retained basis to recruit a remote Software Sales Specialist for TDi Software - experts in providing intuitive SaaS products to the transport industry throughout the UK. This is a terrific opportunity fora passionate salesperson to drive sales activity while working autonomously as part of a small, tight-knit team. The role is based in Chesterfield and would be operating a hybrid working model.*Please note that sponsorship is NOT available for this role and all 3rd party applications will be forwarded to Robert Half for processing *The CompanyTDi Software have been providing expert tachograph analysis and transport compliance solutions for over 30 years for both large and small clients in the haulage and logistics sectors.They strive to remain at the forefront of innovation with their in-house development team, to bring customers new products and software features to stay on top of the ever-changing legislation of transport compliance.Their software offerings are cloud hosted (AWS), allowing all their software to be accessed at anytime, anywhere, on any device.RoleThe Software Sales Specialist will handle all incoming sales enquiries made via website and word of mouth (current sales generation) as well as working with our Marketing Lead to generate campaigns to push our products into the market and be proactive onlocating new accounts.Will be responsible for taking the customer from their initial enquiry through to contract generation, at which point the team will take over to onboard and manage the account (partial responsibility for checking in with the customer beyond this point atthe intro period).Your profile

  • 3+ years of successful software sales experience.
  • Experience of both account management and business development.
  • SaaS background preferred.
  • Knowledge of logistics industry a bonus but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
