Job Description

Sewing Machinist - Manufacturing

    • If this is you then please read on and apply!Our client are looking for a Industrial Sewing Machinists who has operated Flat Bed machines and will be responsible for stitching together pre-cut industrial plastics, fabric pieces, adding zips and other fastenings and producing finished products. In addition you will have the ability to perform basic machine tasks, such as cleaning the machine and changing needles and threads.The role - Sewing Machinist - ManufacturingThe successful candidate will have the following skills: -
  • Previous experience of working on an industrial sewing machine (This doesnt need to be current).
  • Conversant with various seam widths and there utilisation
  • Experience in sewing heavy duty fabric would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Good at working to deadlines
  • Have the ability to quality check own work
  • Can work on own and as part of a team
  • Being reliable and practical
  • Communicating effectively
  • Ability to following health & safety polices.
