Job Description

The Best Connection are an employment agency who provide temporary Personnel around the Chesterfield and Worksop areasWe have a great opportunity for the below-mentioned role.Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a temporary to permanent basis.Vacancy: Sewing Machinist, SeamstressSalary: £9.00 - £10.00p/h Experience Required, Hours: Full-time • Immediate Start • Location: ChesterfieldDuties for the Sewing Machinist:

  • Follow an operating instruction for the particular job.
  • Complete requirements for sewing items using appropriate materials.
  • Draw threads through needles and adjust machine functions to meet the requirements of the sewing project.
  • Report any faults or discrepancies to the Team Leader.
  • Quality Control checks.
  • Recording the number of items produced.
  • Industrial Machine experience
    • Ideal candidate for the Sewing Machinist role:
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Experience of working to targets
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be an experienced sewing machinist
