Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineering ManagerTechnical Maintenance & Repairs to join the team.Location: ChesterfieldSalary: £40,000 per annumOur client is looking for a high-level service engineering manager who can improve build on their excellent service delivery as a Field Service Engineering Manager. Service Engineering Manager - The Client:Our client is offering an exciting opportunity to join a leading UK audio & visual services company through their new Service Engineering Manager vacancy. Our client has continually grown their client base and proudly supports many large and small businessesacross the events industry throughout the UK.In this new role you will help drive operational delivery and regularly must report to the Operations Director.Service Engineering Manager - Key Responsibilities:- Managing the Field Service team- Planning the daily and weekly logistics for both routine and emergency repairs and maintenance- Act as point of escalation for issues relating to the scheduling of technicians- Overseeing preparation of quotes and service contracts- Overseeing compilation and maintenance of MI, KPI data sheets, Service forecast information- Reviewing and analysing Service KPIs and targetsService Engineering ManagerYou:- Experience managing a field-based service team, ideally on a national basis- A background in IT infrastructure / networking / audio visual or other technical hardware- Experience of planning and executing the effective logistics of a field-based team of engineers- Experience of raising quotes and technical estimates- Educated to degree level must be beneficialThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to take responsibility and manage and develop a team around them.
