Senior Geotechnical EngineerChesterfield£65,000-£70,000 + training + progression to Management + company car or allowance + excellent holidays + holidays purchase + life assurance + cycle to work schemeAre you a Geotechnical Engineer or similar, looking for a new and exciting opportunity with an ever-expanding business known across the UK for providing bespoke solutions across geotechnical, structural, and renewable engineering, partnering closely with theirglobally-leading parent company who offer generous training and progression opportunity to Management levelDo you have experience in slope stabilisation project design, looking to step into a multifaceted position, overseeing a team of specialist engineers on a range of environmentally beneficial geotechnical projectsOn offer is the opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to immediately add value to a dynamic and forward-thinking business, dedicated to delivering industry-leading Geotechnical projects across both commercial and residential sites, with the opportunityto progress into a Management role.The Role:

  • Design slope stabilisation solutions such as soil nailing and rock bolting/netting
  • Inspect rock faces, slopes and retaining walls both on foot and using ropes
  • Review designs from junior team members and assess for cost-saving solutions
  • Prepare quotes, inspection reports, and design briefs
  • Provide data and reports on projects
The Person:
  • Slope Stabilisation design experience
  • Degree in Ground Investigation or similar
