Job Description

£16 p/h - Band 6 Equivalent/Circa £29.9K | 36 Hour Contract - Nights | Small Nursing Home - Good CQC | Great BenefitsA small private nursing home in Chesterfield currently requires an RGN/Adult Nurse to join their team on full-time nights.The home offers elderly and dementia care packages on both a nursing and residential basis and is owned and operated by a leading national health and social care group.Details of this RGN Night Nurse post and what our client is offering:

  • A permanent contract of 36 hours per week, working flexible night shifts over a 7 day rota
  • Fantastic hourly pay rates of £16, which is equivalent to NHS Band 6 rates and a salary in the region of £29,950

    • In this role you will play a key role in the planning, delivery and management of resident care programmes. You will manage a caseload of residents and will lead a team of HCAs on shift in the delivery of personal care.The successful candidate for this Night Nurse post will meet the following criteria:
  • NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN
  • Experienced in a leadership or supervisory role within a UK care home or elderly and dementia care setting
  • Confident undertaking clinical assessments and in all aspects of care management
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and an effective leader
  • Able to lead by example, demonstrating comprehensive clinical skills and knowledge and a passion for maintaining the highest standards
