Job Description

Project Engineer/Senior Project EngineerChesterfieldCompetitive SalaryPermanentProject Engineer required by our client who are an industry leading manufacturer. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful completion of EPC projectsResponsibilities – Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer

  • Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, recording and monitoring the assigned engineering projects
  • Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Interacting daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements, and managing Client responses.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with Lead Project Manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Requirements – Project Engineer/ Senior Project Engineer
  • Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
  • Min. 2 years’ experience relevant Project experience (EPC Project Management preferred)
  • Formal and recognised Project Management qualifications desirable
  • Strong Analytical, communicational and leadership skills required
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure – working to deadlines and be able to prioritise workload
