Job Description

Plant Engineer (Hydraulics / Drilling Equipment)Chesterfield£36,000 - £40,000 + Training + Support Towards Qualifications + Progression + Overtime + Health Benefits + Monday - Friday + Predominantly Site BasedDo you have any experience working with Plant Equipment, looking for a varied, versatile site-based role where you will have great work / life balance, as well as the opportunity to train and develop your skills on bespoke, specialist equipment, designedfor the UKs most challenging Geotechnical projectsAre you looking to join a dynamic, friendly and highly skilled team, where you will work on cutting edge hydraulic drilling equipment, in a predominantly site-based role, with occasional visits to clients, where no two day will be the sameOn offer is the opportunity to join a well-established, and rapidly growing consultancy, which works on a range of high value projects across the UK. You will be responsible for service, maintenance, repair and fault finding on a fleet of Plant and DrillingEquipment, specifically working with Hydraulics. You will also be involved in new product development, and the build of specialist prototypes.The role:

  • Complete Service, Maintenance and Repair on specialist plant equipment (predominantly hydraulics) within the workshop (E.g. drilling rigs, excavators)
  • Fault-finding on mechanics, electrics and electronic equipment
  • Assist with the new build of prototypes, including some fabrication
  • Occasionally travel to client sites to complete further maintenance on plant equipment
The person:
  • Any experience as a plant fitter
  • Driving License
  • Hydraulics experience
