Job Description

Organisation Lead Nurse – Inspire Health -Chesterfield This is an exciting opportunity to join our team delivering health care to the communities of Chesterfield, Hasland and the surrounding areas.Inspire Health is located in modern premises in Chesterfield and Hasland.There are good public transport and road connections and a short drive away from the M1 motorway.We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to lead and clinically manage our nursing team across the Inspire Health organisation.You will already be an established lead nurse in a GP Practice setting.With clear dedication to best practice and a passion for improving health outcomes, you will support the clinical governance of the practice.As the Organisation Lead Nurse you will provide clinical leadership in order to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of services to all patients. You will work alongside the clinical team delivering and developing patient care.You will act as a mentor and ensure the training support of the nursing team is maintained.As a motivated and driven Lead Nurse you will relish the challenge of working in a fast paced health care environment, demonstrating a commitment to the Practice ethos of maximising every opportunity to deliver a high quality of care to all our patients .Your time will be split between our three sites and be a combination of clinical and administrative sessions.Working clinically you will provide a full range of services from pre bookable appointments to delivering our INR /anticoagulation and Long Term Condition management processes.We are looking for approximately 30 hours per week over 4 or 5 days.Working hours will be in a rota basis, Monday to Friday between 0730 and 1830 hours.The working pattern detail will be by negotiation between the successful applicant and the Practice Management Team.There may be some very occasional Saturday morning duties.You will report to the Practice Organisational Manager.Clinical guidance and support provided by the 8 GP Partners of Inspire Health.You must hold a current NMC registration with an independent Nurse Prescribing Qualification.Inspire Health is a progressive medical health care provider, offering excellent NHS service delivery and patient care to diverse communities across a variety of settings.
