Job Title: Midday Learning Support AssistantLocation: Chesterfield, DerbyshireEmployer: Academics ltdJoin us at Academics and Make a Difference!Contract Type: Full-Time/ Temporary/ Temp to Perm roles availableJob Title: Midday Supervisor - SEN SchoolWorking Hours: 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday to FridayAre you looking for a rewarding position that allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of children in a school setting A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Midday Supervisor to join a SEN school located in the Chesterfield area. This role isoffered on a temporary basis through Academics, a leading education recruitment agency.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lunchtime Supervision: You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of primary school children during their lunch break.
  • Playground Monitoring: Supervise and engage with students during outdoor playtime, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Behaviour Management: Encourage positive behaviour and address any minor behavioural issues in accordance with school policies.
  • Assist with Mealtime: Support children during their lunch, helping them with any practical needs.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
  • Patience and a caring nature.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is a plus but not mandatory.
