The business has grown in the last 2 years to a multi million turnover business, selling via retail & wholesale channel. What began as a self-fundedcompany of two, has grown into a tight-knit team of thinkers, creators, and innovators.As a Merchandiser you will be responsible for maximising category performance through strategic range and stock planning.Description

  • Construct & aid presentation of company range plans ensuring accurate buy plans & financial roll ups by category and channels. Review pricing hierarchy and margin for pre-season sign off.
  • Recommend product range structures, including option count and range depth, through data analytics.
  • Review sales and forecast future demand for ecom channel & rolling options, planning the order volumes to achieve sales budgets.
  • Provide forward visibility of stock intake & inventory holding reports.
  • Review in season stock opportunities and stock out risks ensuring category profitability is maximised.
  • Ensure merchandising calendar and critical path deadlines are met to achieve stock delivery on time in full, providing forecast information to achieve where needed.
  • Support the intake freight process, identifying continuous improvement processes that reduce cost and improve service.
  • Review and present weekly ecom trade performance into the business
  • Prepare monthly and adhoc financial reports for business use.
  • Build strong working relationships with supply base & other functions.
  • Strive to introduce best practices across merchandise planning and stock intake.
  • Responsible for the management of Junior Merchandiser to ensure a robust and well-trained merchandising team.
Profile
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Highly organised, numerical, and analytical
  • Strong Excel skills are essential.
  • Good communication & leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a fast-paced team.
