Our client is a leading manufacturing business and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Engineer.The successful applicant will undertake mechanical maintenance activities at our clients busy manufacturing plant in Chesterfield.The Role:Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for mechanical maintenance and repair activities at a busy foundry and machining plant.We are seeking a skilled mechanical maintenance engineer preferably with previous mechanical fault find and repair experience in heavy industry manufacturing environment.You will plan, organise the mechanical maintenance team to ensure the effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance for a highly automated production plant.
