Elevation Recruitment Group have been retained to recruit a truly unique role based on the boarder of South Yorkshire and the East Midlands, just off the M1. Our client is looking for a Managing Director and Co-owner for a newly formed manufacturing business with ambitious growth plans. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone taking their first step into total business leadership or someone who has experienceof building a business from the bottom up.The business is of a modest size with around 15 full times employees, however, there is huge potential to triple this with the right leadership and vision.This role is not a traditional MD role, and it will not suit everyone, as it will be hands on in both running production and driving sales through business development and leading from the front. The incentive for the role is not in a basic salary but in the long-term rewards of the success of the business. Therefore, our client is offering both equity and bonus incentives. The successful candidate will be the face of the business, responsible for Health and Safety, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance (P&L), HR, Sales and all other demands of leading the business. The successful candidate will be a commercial thinker with strong financial acumen as well as manufacturing experience.
