Maintainance EngineerThis is an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic engineer to work for a heavy engineering business based in Derbyshire.Reporting to the maintenance manager, you will ensure that any repairs and servicing of all electrical and mechanical equipment, plant, and machinery within the Division are dealt with efficiently and effectively, and ensure any breakdown repairs, PPM schedules,or refurbishments are carried out with minimum interruption to the production process. Due to the nature of the role, the standard work hours and shift pattern will be discussed at interview, and you will be required to participate in an agreed schedule for call outs and weekend working. Flexibility is critical to this role.You will liaise with team to ensure spares are ordered before the last parts are used, and ensure prompt and efficient repair of broken machinery. You will hand over any information or work to the relevant team member/department to ensure the efficient runningof the factory and log all breakdown information on the maintenance reporting system and file correctly.Key roles; Maintain and repair overhead cranes,(inverter, motors, etc), buildings, plant, and machinery.;As a maintenance engineer, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering with a bias towards electrical.Maintenance engineer duties will include the installation and maintenance of overhead cranes, plant and equipment, preventative maintenance, and routine refurbishment work. Therefore, the candidate must have sound knowledge and experience in Three-phaseelectrical installation, including motors and inverters drives; possess excellent troubleshooting, etc.Working at heights is a key requirement hence successful candidates should be comfortable operating a MEWP.The ability to work as part of a team together with an excellent attitude towards Health & Safety are pre-requisites of this role.This may suit someone who has experience as a maintenance engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, maintenance supervisor, maintenance manager, multi skilled maintenance engineer.Commutable from Chesterfield, Ashby, Derby, Derbyshire, Walton, Sheffield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Mansfield, Burton-upon-Trent, Barton-Under-Needwood, Ripley, Alfreton, Macclesfield, Congleton, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Lichfield, Leek,Buxton, Bakewell
