Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are working with a well established company based in Chesterfield who due to expansion are looking for Maintenance Engineers to join their growing team on a permanent basis. Salary: £38k per annum + overtime and shift allowance Working on a 3 shift pattern of Days 6am - 2pm, Afters 2pm - 10pm, and Nights 10pm - 6am Shift allowance is paid for days and afters and a higher rate is paid for night shift Weekly production bonus & Yearly attendance bonus Duties will include:

  • Providing planned maintenance.
  • Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns.
  • Liaising with customers and provide support to operators.
  • Fault-finding and on-site diagnostics.
  • Ensure all data is completed on the relevant job.
  • Reporting any faults that cannot be fixed at the time to the seniors on shift.
  • Working in different areas of the business i.e. forging operations, heat treatment, shot-blast CNC & manual machining.
Key Requirements
  • Have mechanical engineering skills and qualifications.
  • Have experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Be able to work unsupervised as part of a small multi-disciplined team.
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Be able to work overtime as and when needed.
  • Have the ability to work efficiently to ensure all tasks are carried out in a safe manner.
