Job Description

IT APPLICATIONS SUPPORT ANALYSTWHITTINGTON MOOR, CHESTERFIELD, UKc£30k DOEGrafton Recruitment are looking to recruit an IT Applications support analyst to join a global brand that offers end-to-end HR services.THE ROLE:As an IT Applications Support Analyst you will be required to:

  • Technical product ownership of several applications; collating, resolving, and actioning requirements, support requests, and issues; administrating users, and configuring, deploying and promoting application enhancements.
  • Collaborating with end-users to assess pain points, determine solutions, and transfer application-specific knowledge via workshops and user guides to keep service tickets to a minimum.
  • Maintenance of applications from the perspectives of security and compliance; ensuring applications are up-to-date, user access and permission levels are appropriate, and all data are secured in accordance to data privacy policies. You will communicateand co-ordinate with technical colleagues both locally and globally; and 3rd party suppliers to perform these activities.
  • Active involvement in medium to large projects such as the replacement of applications, the revision and reconfiguration of application configurations as part of a major business improvement programme, and the onboarding of new applications. The postholderwill be instrumental in the planning and testing phases of these projects to ensure that they deliver optimal benefit to the business and our end users.
Requirements / qualifications:
  • Previous relevant experience in either a technical product managment, service delivery, or technical support role; supporting / develping business operations with technical solutions.
  • Previous experience in administrating any of the following:
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions (e.g. Salesforce, Bullhorn etc.)
    • Workforce Management (WFM) solutions (e.g. Profile RPM, Kronos, SAP Fieldglass, etc.)
    • Payroll solutions (e.g. Opera, Access Pay & Bill, MHR etc.)
    • Finance / Accounting solutions (e.g. Navision, Dynamics, Sage, Quickbooks etc.)
    • Marketing campaign solutions (e.g. MagNews, Dot Digital, Marketo etc.)
    • Microsoft Office solutions (Excel, Teams, SharePoint etc.)
  • Experience in educating non-technical users of technical concepts via users guides, support manuals; or workshops.
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Excel to manipulate data, using a variety of formulae, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g. SQL, PowerShell, HTML, VBA / .NET) is an asset
  • Experience in mapping a process using process-flow charts.
  • Experience of gathering, documenting, priortising, and / or engineering requirements.
  • Experience of contributing to the production of project management documents (e.g. as business case, charter, RAID log, micro / macro plans, schedules, WBS, highlight reports, etc.)
