Ref: 488Role: HR Shared Service ManagerSalary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum depending on experience levelLocation: ChesterfieldWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 3 Days office, 2 days homeThe role:Reporting to the Group Head of People Change and Transformation, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Professional to assist in the development and implementation of our centralised People Team Model. This is an amazing opportunity for someoneto really mould and influence HR admin processes and data within a new and emerging model. Their People Hub system (HRIS) is the enabler of data and reporting accuracy, of which you’ll become an expert user and influencer.People change and transformation is high on our clients agenda and this role will be a significant step forward to achieving their strategic people plan. They will look to develop the role and responsibilities over the coming months for the successful applicant).This is a perfect opportunity for continued professional development and to make a real difference and impact.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a team of HR administration / onboarding colleagues, to develop a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and promote professional development opportunities
  • Drive a customer-centric mindset within the team, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of HR inquiries and requests (colleague onboarding and compliance plus all people related admin)
HR Admin Delivery:
  • Develop and implement standardized HR admin processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices in all HR service areas
  • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and achieve operational excellence
HR Systems and Data:
  • Collaborate with the internal systems team to identify and implement HR technology solutions to enhance service delivery and automation
  • Oversee data integrity and accuracy in HR systems, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective measures when necessary
  • Stay updated on emerging HR technologies and trends, making recommendations for system enhancements or process improvements
  • Be the lead of HR data including candidate pipeline, time to hire
Employee Experience:
  • Champion a positive employee experience within HR centralised model,, ensuring prompt and professional support to employees at all levels
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance HR processes to simplify and streamline employee interactions, seeking feedback and acting upon it
  • Implement self-service options and knowledge management platforms to empower employees and managers to access HR information independently
Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate closely with HR Leads, Recruitment, and other People functional areas to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of HR services
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, seeking their input and feedback to enhance service delivery and meet evolving needs
The successful candidate:
  • Proven experience in HR shared services / centralised model or similar role, with a track record of successfully leading and developing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices, as well as employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with HR systems and technology, including HRIS platforms and case management tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive insights and process improvements.
