Job Description

Reed HR are supporting a professional services company in Chesterfield to recruit a stand-alone HR Manager. This is a full-time, permanent andgeneralist role.Benefits

Job description
  • Develop, implement and maintain current HR policies and procedures, in order to drive the people/business plan forward
  • Work closely with Senior and Line Managers, guiding, coaching and supporting them on HR activities
  • Lead on recruitment activity, covering internal and external advertising, managing agency partners and attending interviews/assessments
  • Develop and maintain an effective talent pipeline process across all levels of the business
  • Manage the employee relations and performance management processes, including disciplinary, grievance and/or redundancy procedures
  • Support the training strategy and upskill/advise line managers regarding delivery, review and measurement
  • Manage the online employee engagement and recognition platform, including usage levels
  • Produce monthly MI and statistics reports that effectively measure the HR inputs, costs and successes
Person specification
  • 5+ years HR experience
  • Current knowledge of employment law
  • Proven ability to manage a full range of generalist HR processes
  • Strong communications ability (written and verbal) as well as stakeholder management skills
  • Car owner/driver
  • IT skills and experience using MS packages.
