Job Description

Fraud Team Admin AssistantLocation: Chesterfield, DerbyshireSalary: £18,000 - £19,000 depending on experience with an excellent benefit package.Full time position - PermanentWho are weWere one of the UKs largest managing general agent, supporting over 1,000 broker partners and more than 3 million policyholders with a wide variety of insurance products. The RoleDue to the continued success and expansion of the company we are now looking to recruit a new member to join our dynamic and forward-thinking teams.The key purpose of this role is to support the fraud investigation teams through completing key tasks and ensuring work is directed to the correct areas for strategic assessment.What will my duties be

  • Raising and authorising required payments.
  • Liaising with legal partners to keep all investigations updated.
  • Arranging and dispatching claims files to legal partners.
  • Instructing agents on behalf of Counter Fraud Team Investigators.
  • Checking and updating claims files to ensure data integrity.
  • Preparing investigations for closure.
  • Completion of work tasks to assist with workflow.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements (including DPA and "treating customers fairly" principles).
  • Responding promptly and pro-actively to incoming telephone calls and correspondence by use of telephone, e-mail and letter.
What were looking for:
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access preferred
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage own workloads.
Desirable Skills:
  • Motor claims experience
  • Graduate
  • Good knowledge of the Data Protection Act
  • Experience of fraud investigation and/or analysis would be beneficial although not essential.
