A dynamic company based in Chesterfield are seeking a skilled Finance Assistant, with a focus on Accounts Receivable, to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.The successful candidate will be joining an experienced, well-established team. Working in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will need to be highly organised, highly analytical and have excellent communications skills. You will be working closelywith the Financial Controller and Management Accountant. Your duties will include but are not limited to:-Creating, reviewing and issuing sales invoices to our network of partners-Uploading invoices issued to consumers to the accounting system -Taking incoming calls, including payments over the phone-Ensuring all customer accounts are balanced and reconciled on a timely basis-Dealing and assisting with any sales ledger queries, resolving them quickly and efficiently-Reviewing and processing customer refunds-Raising funds requests from the Finance provider for new Finance Customer sales-Monitoring of creditworthiness of Finance customers-Preparing weekly debt reports and maintaining debt collection records-Working closely within the Finance team providing support where requiredYou must have:-Minimum 2 years basic bookkeeping / accounting knowledge-High attention to detail for accurately processing customer transactions-Good organisation skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise, to manage multiple accounts, maintaining good housekeeping on the Accounts Receivable ledger-Good communication skills, including active listening and good telephone manner-Computer literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software (experience in using Xero advantageous but not essential) This is a growing company with a fantastic culture and working environment.
