Job Description

Domestic Violence Support WorkerTemporary, 37.5 hoursChesterfieldWe are recruiting for a non-for-profit organisation in Chesterfield who are looking for an experienced Domestic Violence Support Worker to join their team on temporary basis up until the end of October 2020Duties of the Domestic Violence Support Worker role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing a caseload of clients that have preciously encountered domestic violence
  • Signposting to access other services
  • Addressing safeguarding concerns
  • Completing support plans and risk assessments
  • Supporting clients in their own accommodation
  • Essential criteria of the Domestic Violence Support Worker include:
  • An Enhanced DBS and ability to pass police vetting
  • Experience supporting those that have faced Domestic Violence
  • UK Drivers license and access to a vehicle
