Job Description

Accidental Damage Claims Handler Starting Salary: £20,357 rising to £21,357 after 3 monthsHybrid role- 2 days office-based, 3 days from homeHours: Monday to Friday Shifts between 8 am - 6 pm 37.5 hours a week.1 x Saturday per month (depending on business needs)If you work the Saturday, you will be given off a day in the week in replacement Overview My client is a large and leading Insurance Group who specialise in Motor Insurance. They are seeking friendly and professional customer service "claims handlers" to join their team in Chesterfield.The main purpose of the role is to act as the first point of contact for customers who need to report motor incidents. You will provide excellent customer service and support and guide them through the claims process from start to finish.Full training is provided, and this is an amazing opportunity to get within a progressive and expanding company.This role would ideally suit an ambitious and enthusiastic individual, with previous customer service, hospitality, retail or similar background.Responsibilities

  • Take the initial inquiry from the claimant making sure all information is logged accurately.
  • Process Repair & Total Loss Claims in accordance with claims processes
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure delivery of customer service.
  • Answer inbound calls from customers, brokers, and accident management companies in a professional manner dealing with queries, and complaints and providing updates on claims.
  • Additional administration duties as required.
  • Provide support to the Team Manager by ensuring delivery of own performance against agreed objectives, KPIs and SLAs
