Job Description

Business Analyst - Project Management Location: Chesterfield, DerbyshireSalary: Up to £40,000 per annum plus benefitsFull Time (37.5 hours per week)12 Months Fixed Term ContractClosing - 18th January 2021AvantiGas is one of the UKs leading suppliers in off-grid energy solutions to homes and businesses across the nation. To us, it’s about the fulfilled promise of safe, efficient and friendly delivery of our products.We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to support the IT Project Management team and wider business with various business change projects, working closely with stakeholders and suppliers to develop and deliver high quality services and processes.Key responsibilities

  • Will work on a portfolio of projects and facilitate improvement activities.
  • You’ll develop service designs and process maps, analysing and documenting processes and workflow.
  • Produce all essential documents in relation to the control and management of projects, e.g. RAID logs and Strategy documents.
  • Work with the Development and Testing teams to define acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate with scoping and estimating sessions at various levels from Project Initiation level to planning and replanning sessions within the project.
  • Support testing and UAT phases.

  • You’ll have experience in a similar role within a fast paced, evolving environment, managing the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience of producing business cases
  • Extensive experience of process improvement projects and process mapping is essential
  • You’ll hold RAID Logs management experience
  • You’ll be a logical thinker with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills are essential
