Job Description

Accounts Clerk Vacancy- ChesterfieldHours: Monday to Friday 8.45-5.15 (37.5 hours)Salary £20000-£22,000OC14175Hours: To be discussedSalary: Negotiable depending on experiencePerrys are one of the UKs largest Car Dealership Groups having served customers since 1908 with over 50 branches across the country. Official franchised dealer for many of the UKs most popular car and commercial vehicle brands, including Ford, Kia, Mazda,and Vauxhall.The role is to support the Accountant / Accounts function in all aspects of the department:

  • Processing of manual payment requests; Ensuring they are fully supported and completing the setup of manual payments on the online banking system or by cheque and posting onto ledger
  • Raising vehicle taxation cheques and posting onto ledger
  • Providing confirmation of customer receipts received in the bank to the sales department
  • Assisting with covering credit control duties and purchase ledger processing when required
  • Providing coverage for cashier when required
Requirements:
  • We are looking for someone with an excellent admin background, or experience in an Accounts Clerk / Assistant role.
