Could you be our next Warehouse Administrator Theres every chance youll have eaten our food, so why not come and work for us We are looking for somebody to work the night shift at our warehouse in Chepstow.Warehouse Administrator (Nights)Chepstow NP16Full time (8pm-5am, Sunday-Thursday)Salary £24,000Bidfood are a leading wholesale food distributor covering the whole of the UK. Our flexible infrastructure ensures that we cansupply the entire Bidfood product range as a "one stop shop" to our customer base throughout the UK whilst striving for and maintaining a positive and inclusive culture.The role:As a member of our highly efficient Warehouse Nights team, youll fill an essential role in helping us achieve our targets by delivering the right products to our customers on time.This role is based on a 42.5 hour working week which will cover a working pattern of Sunday to Thursday from 8pm until 5am.As a Warehouse Administrator your duties will include:

  • Working on inbound deliveries.
  • Replenishing stock.
  • Releasing pick sheets.
  • Stock taking.
  • General office work.
  • Picking and loading food and non-food products.
You will be responsible for allocating work via the voice man system, ensuring all work is checked before it is released to voice man and Reflex. Printing and checking of customer invoices, drivers paperwork and other work to help the night team run smoothly.You will also be taking calls and answering emails. Calling other depots to chase up deliveries if required and many other various administration duties. You will work closely with the warehouse night shift and drivers ensuring all paperwork is providedin a timely manner and is accurate.The Ideal Warehouse Administrator will have:
  • Food warehousing and distribution experience.
  • Experience working nights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be confident with IT systems with excellent business and administration skills.
  • Be up to date and compliant with all health & safety and food hygiene legislation.
  • Be used to working to targets and have a methodical approach to their work.
  • The ability to maintain high standards of accuracy is essential.
