The hospital provides care to the population of the surrounding Chepstow/Monmouth areas.There is one 32 bedded unit consisting of predominately Care of the Elderly patients who are undergoing a period of rehabilitation and discharge planning.A recent successful pilot held at Chepstow Community Hospital means any successful candidate will be an integral role in the management of direct GP admissions, avoiding unnecessary admissions to the local General Hospitals.
