Job Description

Production Leader Location: ChepstowPosition: Full time (shift work), PermanentSalary: £28,000-£30,000 + benefitsOur Client Autograph Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a well-established, successful business who are currently experiencing significant growth. With national, and international presence, my clients aim is to simplify their customers lives thanksto their customised solutions. They are seeking a full time Production Lead to join their hard-working, fast-paced, busy team.Managing a small team, the successful candidate is required to deliver great service through an efficient, safe, timely department. Consistent and able to complete tasks thoroughly applying intelligence and broader understanding where necessary. Good underpressure, punctual, and flexible in order to uphold the companys admirable reputation.Responsibilities of Production Leader:

  • Ensure all operatives are skilled, educated and compliant to company requirements
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments to ensure smooth running of the production
  • Manage production operations, producing quality products to continuously meet customer and company requirements
  • Manage employee and team performance
  • Work and meet production deadlines and high standards
  • Recruit, induct and train operatives when required
  • Monitor the team productivity and activity
  • Motivate and support the team, promoting a positive working environment and teamwork throughout the department
  • Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to
  • Lead and manage the team, having regular reviews and feedback
  • Seek opportunities for improvement to procedures, systems and functional activities
  • Provide relief cover in case of team holidays or absence
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience in team management, including, performance management, recruitment, inductions and absence management
  • IOSH or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with working in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment
  • Great IT skills, including familiarity of all Microsoft platforms
  • Lead and influence positivity in to the team
  • Ability to deliver quality results, in a timely manner
  • Customer orientated
  • Develop great working relationships, within the team and throughout the company departments
