Job Description

Here at Cordant People we are currently recruiting a Junior HR Administrator to join a client of ours on a 6 month contract with the potential of it being made permanent in the Chepstow area.This role is paying £18000-£20000 a year.In this role you would be Reporting to the Group HR Advisor, the HR & Training Administrator will provide effective HR support by assisting with the administration and HR System.General job roles:

  • Monitor the HR inbox escalating queries to the HR Advisor or HR & Payroll Coordinator
  • Ensure electronic and paper staff records are kept up to date and accurate
  • General administration such as scanning, filing and shredding
  • Publish approved/updated HR policies on the Common drive
  • Assist with meeting minutes when requested
  • Populate and merge template letters
  • Create new starter induction packs
  • Administration and tracking of the DBS system
  • Create De-install ID badges
  • Log applications/CVs on the recruitment tracker spreadsheet.
  • Assist the HR Advisor during peak periods with recruitment which includes posting adverts, logging CVs and generating offer emails and contracts.
  • To be successful:
  • You must have at least 1 years previous admin experience
  • Previous experience of HR or experience performing HR roles - Desire to go into HR
  • Great attention to detail
  • Very computer literate
  • Experience using spread sheets and internal soft ware systems
