Water Treatment Engineer Supervisor: Hertfordshire, North London, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire or Essex.Our client is a dynamic fast-growing water hygiene company based in Hertfordshire. They are looking for an enthusiastic and bright individual to join their engineering team.Their team of engineers manage all aspects of water hygiene from risk assessments, remedial works, closed systems and servicing, making this an exciting opportunity with the prospect of excellent career progression within the company from supervising to operations roles.The ideal candidate should have a strong background in water hygiene with a minimum of 2 years on-site experience.As part of a small team, you will be able to impact strategy, take initiative and deliver ideas and new services that will be fundamental in the teams success!We are currently seeking a supervisor located in Hertfordshire, North London, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire or Essex.Benefits: - Career progression- 28 days holiday + performance birthday holiday- Expenses and fuel card- Company van- Food allowance for work trips (dinner and breakfast)- Work iPhone- Equipment- Health and safety training- Pension (auto-enrol scheme)- Overtime availableResponsibilities: - Managing and supervising engineers- Training engineers- Legionella risk assessments- Schematics- Water testing/sampling- Remedial works/ minor plumbing (TMVs, dead legs, flexible hoses, etc)- Closed system analysis- Closed system dosing- New mains water supply chlorinations- Mains injection chlorinations- Cold water storage tank disinfections- Training clients on site and in class roomMonitoring/management control:- Monthly temperatures - Quarterly descaling - Expansion vessel flushing - Reviews- CWST inspections - HWC inspections - Combination water header inspections - TMV servicing- Water softener services- Spa pool testing and servicingRequirements: - Minimum 2 years experience in the water treatment industry on-site- Thorough understanding of ACOP L8/HSG 274- Understanding hot and cold water systems- Chlorine dosing- Comfortable undertaking plumbing works- Eye for detail, work well independently- Pride in your appearance- IT skills- Punctual, responsible, professional manners- Good customer service and ability to talk with customers- Must demonstrate working flexibility- Full clean driving licence- Travel, working in the South East, London and the UK (includes staying away)Desirables (not required): - City and guilds legionella risk assessment qualified- Have health and safety training- DBS checked but can be supplied by our clientJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £25,000.00 to £32,000.00 /year Required skills
