Job Description

Are you looking for a new service engineer role with a market leading organisation in the recycling sectorDue to continued growth, we are currently seeking a skilled field-based Service Engineer to service and repair a range of recycling equipment, predominantly pneumatic and hydraulic balers and waste compactors.You will cover all or part of Essex, Hertfordshire, North London, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and other areas for holiday cover.Ideally you will live in Essex / Herts area.This is a full-time position in a fast-growing industry sector. 40 hours per week, door to door plus overtime.Training on our equipment range will be provided, so you may not have specific industry experience but will have the right skills to be able to investigate, identify and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical issues.We welcome applications from candidates with any of the following skills or attributes: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Engineer, Engineer, Recycling, Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Baler, compactor, hydraulic,pneumatic, maintenance, recyclingBenefitsCompetitive basic salary plus overtime availableAdditional Salary Information: Company van, mobile phone and tablet will be provided. Essential Skills

  • Ideally applicants will have previous field-based maintenance experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Electrical knowledge including PLCs, control circuits, 3 phase etc
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills, be flexible, and display a positive helpful attitude.
  • Must be self-motivated and reliable
  • Must have full driving licence
