Job Description

Do you have experience working within a school or with children who have SENORDo you have experience within a role that holds transferable skills, such as care/ support worker setting, ambulance, police force, military, residential care, sports coach etcTeaching Personnel are partnered with many schools across Essex who are looking for teaching assistants, support workers, behaviour mentors, FQT, NQT and supply teachers/cover supervisors!One of our biggest schools are looking for several LSA’s (Learning Support Assistant) to help support an SEN school in Chelmsford. This school has grown rapidly and they are needing extra staff to help support the children either in a 1:1setting or small groups.EXPERIENCE WITHIN A SCHOOL IS NOT NECESSARY AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE PASSION AND COMMITMENT TO WORK WITH CHILDREN! About the role:

  • Sociable hours – 8.30am-3.30pm
  • NO WEEKENDS!
  • Working with students who have a variety of SEN
  • Pupil ages from 2-18
  • Part time option available (will not be guaranteed work)
  • Full time option – temp to perm style!
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have previous experience working with SEN children (not essential)
  • Hold a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Have the passion and drive to work with children - MUST
  • Able to use own initiative to get involved – MUST
